Just some general information and rules to be followed while in character:
-Dominant females rule over their lands. They have the rights to make any rules, and the members of their group are inclined to follow. If a member of the group does not follow the rules, the dominant female has the right to do as she wishes with said member. [Note: She can order the character's death but cannot actually kill without the person's and my own permission.]
-Dominant females chose their dominant males, who may be demoted if she wishes.
-Males are typically laid back and do what they must to please the dominant female.
-Mating is usually not allowed within the group unless the dominant female gives permission. In real life, the leader would most likely exile any pregnant females besides herself, though she may be kind and accept the female and pups.
-Males may claim land, but a female may kick him out and become the lead if she wishes.
-The dominant female chooses what position she wants members of her group to be in. Males may not choose to be the dominant male; he will be appointed. However, each group may have its own rules written up by the dominant female. Consult those for more information.
